If you want to set a user as inactive, a quick way to do this is:
From the Manage people and places menu, pick Manage learner details:
Search for the user in question and select the Active tick:
Then at the next screen remove the Account Active tick, enter a Leaving Date (even if they are not leaving, and you just want to pause them being able to log in temporarily) and then Submit.
And it’s done:
And if you want to later reactivate a learner? Simply search for the inactive learner’s name by ticking the ‘Include Inactive Learners’ button and follow the same process of clicking the red cross in the Active column and set them as an active account again.
